I have been working since I was 16. Here is what I have done.
Digital and Emerging Media Specialist/Consultant
I advise Ramsey Center on ways they can use technology to enhance student’s workout experience. I develop Flash products to help students use the machines and maintain their Web presence through their Web site and social media outlets. As an extension from my final new media class, I am also pushing to get the myRamsey mobile Web app launched.
Research Assistant
I assist in the research of scholarly works about the impact of social media on financial markets and edit them for publication. I also learn a lot about finance.
Public Relations & Special Events Intern
I interned at Gwinnett County for two summers in a row and one winter break. I collaborated with a volunteer Board of Directors to help raise more than $65,000 for senior citizens in Gwinnett County during an economic downturn. I was also published 12 times in 4 publications.
