Families4Change
Families4Change is a nonprofit organization that seeks to reduce juvenile offenses, problem behaviors and truancy in school using a family-based program. It runs through the juvenile court system and provides first-time juvenile offenders with a 9-week multi-family “therapy” program. Research shows that a child who is placed on probation is 9.3 times more likely to reoffend than a Families4Change graduate.
One of my main efforts for this promotional plan was to raise money for the program because currently, they only receive enough money from the court systems to cover overhead costs.
