Philanthropy
UGA HEROs is a student-run nonprofit organization that raises funds for children affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Georgia. It was voted Best Organization on Campus 3 years in a row and was the first organization in campus history to raise $1 M in the first 6 years.
I was actively involved with HEROs for 2 years, serving on both the Special Events and Media and Web committees and as a Team Leader for a group of 25-30 philanthropists. I also earned the title of Committee Member of the Semester in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009.
