I took a Digital Storytelling class as an elective in the New Media Institute, where we examined the elements of good storytelling, oral, written, artistic and digital. The purpose of the assignments was to show that we understood the concepts by creating short films. This class did not cover video production techniques, so I learned how to use lighting and camera angles on my own. Everything I produced was done in iMovie, a free and easy-to-use editing software.

The purpose of this movie is to show how technology influences our lives. The girl in this movie is talking to her significant other through technology the whole day, while missing out on human interactions she could be having. She contently interacts through her technology.
